I think that the world, nature, and, let's face it, the Universe, will tell us what our future is to be, weather wise. will we still be here to see it or not aeons into the future?
Over a vast span of time. Or infinity. We have no idea what our planet was like, for instance, millions of years ago.
Apart from geological clues.
Nature's shown us some harsh realities this year.
Like the tides, not a darn thing we can do about nature's will.
Yes, we can keep the "place" clean - as we would tidy our homes. And cut back on pollution where possible, in all aspects.
But weather? We are just grains of sand on the beach - wishing - but we'll never, ever, be able to control Nature's will, or the inevitable.
Yet Gillard thinks she can lower world temperatures permanently by the introduction of an Australian Carbon Tax? Rather presumptuous, I would think, in the overall scheme of things.
Wonder if the dinoasaurs had any philosophers - or global warmists? Lol
