I have friends in Canada who tell me the recent winters have been exceptionally cold. One family is ready to leave Vancouver in search of a warmer climate.
The colder than normal temperatures over the past few years being reported from most parts of the world are making the AGW story very hard to sell.
I notice there was no mention of carbon tax in the federal budget. Labor seems to be waking up to a few things lately, probably because of poor polling, and if they are wise they will drop their plan to tax carbon which hardly anyone supports. Revenue would be better raised through a sensible tax on resources as IMO most people do think the nation should be getting a better return from selling our minerals.
