Just as everyone 'fell asleep at the wheel' China has shown the world again that it's plans to moderise and grow will consume more metals than most analysts can even dream about.
Inbound shipments of copper concentrate by China jumped to 683,523 tons last month, up 22 percent from a year earlier, the Beijing-based customs office said Oct. 25. Thats a record, according to Fu Bin, an analyst at Jinrui Futures Co., a unit of Jiangxi Copper Co., Chinas biggest producer.
