The record date for FGL, 15.25 cents final dividend is listed as 7/9/2009, so by my calculating buyers chasing the final dividend have to declare their hand by Wednesday close of trade at the latest to be on the books for the 7/9/2009, so expect some interest in FGL between now & Wednesday close of trade. Whilst I suspect FGL share price could easily carry this dividend,as it has done the last few years (refer yearly charts) it also provides an opportunity for the trader who is quite happy to buy FGL & on sell late Wednesday as the dividend chasers seek FGL stock.
