The shares went "ex" today...

That is "ex bonus issue".

As such, the shares were purged and a new market established.

If you buy the shares now, you will NOT be entitled to the "bonus issue" in YRR...as John Cleese would say...the shares are now trading "ex bonus issue"...the bonus is "ex"...it has passed...it is deceased...dead...it is an "ex" bonus issue...it no longer exists...the life has been sucked out of it

The record date is still the 9th...however...to be on the share register as a shareholder by this date, you had to buy shares prior to the "ex" date...that is, you had to but them no later than yesterday!

Do not be fooled by these less than genuine posters who alwas seem to get these things wrong...I suspect they are not as silly as you might think!
