BSA boosts building services division after WA contract

BSA Ltd has boosted the forward order book for its building services division to a record $270 million, after securing a Brookfield Multiplex contract for the provision of HVAC services at the Fiona Stanley Hospital at Murdoch in Western Australia.

The hospital will be the state?s biggest infrastructure project and in dollar terms the largest single HVAC subcontract for any project type ever to be let in Australia at $130 million.

Group managing director of the division Mark Lowe said: ?The senior management team made two important strategic decisions in 2007, the first being to expand our geographical footprint into Western Australia and the second was to increase our focus in the health, medical research and institutional buildings markets.?
