I reckon you're right but not for the reason you've given.
For me, primarily, it's about the forward PE for SML being still very reasonable given the growth profile) whereas A2... is not quite so convincing. SML also have better diversification and defensive plays than A2.
Both great companies. I've held SML from the IPO - recently did the factory tour (very smart!)
