On the immigration score both sides have been in lockstep for decades, they both want high levels of immigration. Really high. This year it's the ALP's turn, for a decade it was the Coalition, back and forth. There are several reasons both camps like it (though some of them are different), but regardless of who is in the chair it's just kicking the tin down the road to continue the giant ponzi scheme.
