To some extent you are correct, but the Universities themselves became whores to the mass immigration student and the dumbing down of degrees just to get the dollar. This was not the case in my day when Uni's were a place of learning and the system worked well with a nice balance between givers and takers. Bachelor or Arts specialising in pastel creation just might get a permanent residency. Can you draw or paint ?
