peterdoobes - I'd prefer not to reveal - I quite like the anonymity of this place. It's shameful enough being known as a CIY holder on here.
I will continue to hold. The upside is now greater than the downside from here. I'm not a forced seller, so won't. They will also serve as a useful capital gain offset if I choose.
On the funds management model...funds are still being raised out there by other funds...if property can find a base and confidence can return to financial markets, then the model will continue to work...especially if the FMF can still pay distributions...can CIY avoid selling all of their farms to ride out the confidence trough? I have a nagging feeling though, that the Fortress injection was a deal with the devil. I can see them trying to yank the funds back out to get more of the guts...
