dargie hasn't slipped up on that point. My friend who went to the GOC said the JV partners were expecting water cut virtually from the beginning and it now transpires that the water cut is nowhere near as bad as they were expecting.
You can have water cut and still have 50000bpd of oil production, but the level of water cut is out of their control. So enjoy it at 50000 bpd while it lasts, and it looks like lasting for a while yet, but it was not what the JV was expecting at the time of commissioning. This is why the facilities are designed to do maximum of 120000bpd of liquids so that at least 50000 of that would be oil. They may well be in the situation where to produce 50000bpd of oil they are not necessarily pumping the full 120000bpd of liquids.
And leonchai, the answer to your question is yes, but they have already upgraded the reserves in November to recognise this. You can't expect to upgrade reserves for the same thing twice now can we.
