    Yes, but with JBG the shorts declined very sharply **before** the min moves upward. ie. the price was controlled via hft and only once the positions that needed to be closed were closed, was the price allowed to run/pushed upward.

    The shorts on JBH have been little changed between 10 and 17 dollars! no short covering rally! The short covering happended prior to the run from 10.
