Kimberley Diamonds achieved a record price at its fourth diamond sale in Antwerp, 7,790 carats sold from Ellendale pipe 9 for US $1.2 MILLION (A$2.2 MILLION).
The parcel, comprising 7,790 carats was sold for a record price of $155 US (A$276) per carat to an overseas Co in Antwerp, the next sale is due in January 2003.
