I live in Queensland and jasper has been a mere blimp on our normal weather patterns.
Nobody is running around Queensland yelling the sky is falling because this is just a normal weather pattern.
So please don't sit in some dry French canal and lecture us about our weather. You are way out of line and in fact sound pathetic.
I have friends on a farm outside Cairns and their only concern is not the water but some extra crocodiles floating down.
It has happened before and it will happen again.
