no point, cheaper to buy the chemicals at spot price currently. Primobius aren’t looking at selling atm due to plant size etc but in the future they will once it’s at nameplate , especially getting royalties in 26 from the ever elusive Stelco JV if it doesn’t get that pushed back it becomes nothing.
Cheap spot price brings it down just like say a explorer for lithium or developer will drop like a sack of turds when the lithium spot drops, I guess our saving grace atm is that in Europe I think it’s mandatory to have 9% recycled materials in future batteries but not 100% on that.
Another bonus when the battery “passport” comes in it will show it came from recycled material in Europe so somewhere along the line it could be eligible for incentives etc.
