Thanks for the link. It's amazing what you can see there. In particular, the fine tuning of a precise mixture, which then leads to the desired improvement. That should be encouraging.

Here is a link to an EU project:

Morgan Sindall is also a partner in this project and reported the following:

.... The second day brought a momentous occasion as representatives from Chinese partners joined in person for the first time. Professor Yong Wang of the University of Manchester welcomed the Chinese partners to the UK and provided them with a platform to share their insights. Arcas & Callisto Consulting facilitated the attendance of nine Chinese partners representing the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China (MoHURD) and the China Academy of Building Research. Among them were Professor Jingjiang Liu and Mrs. Siya Wang, both members of our International Expert Advisory Board. This marked the official commencement of collaboration between Europe and China within the RECONMATIC Project....
    And:
....Attendees were also treated to tours of the University of Manchester's facilities, providing them with a unique opportunity to explore the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre and the Henry Royce Institute for Advanced Materials....

Well then, if you're already looking at urban mining, graphene could be useful for this form of raw material.

Many thanks to all those who have contributed to the direct funding of FGR for the coming year. The programme seems clear: build on the initial successes with cement / concrete, show reliability for the partners, make a name for ourselves as experts in the nano field for improvements in cement and concrete. I think that's a very good focus for the next one or two years.

Of course, there's more to the Graphene world, for example:

FGR can take care of that in 3 years' time.

Happy New Year to all and may the world find a better order than at present.
    Best,
