red alert possible market manipulation

Both these were tipped in a subscription newsletter after the close yesterday.

ECU closed at 21.5c yesterday & opened today @ 27.5c !!
MCP closed at 67c yesterday & opened today @ 90c !!

ECU answered a price query with "we know nothing".
MCP released a profit update at 9:06am this morning!!!!

Coincidence or what?? The tipster would not want to have been holding any of the above stocks before today. That woud be illegal.
Price action tomorrow will be interesting. Hope you didn't buy at the top........
