RED SP performance is outstanding compared to the likes of SAR, NST and SLR to name few. The "rebalancing" going on at the moment reminds one of the games that some parts of the market constantly play. When stocks head in a direction seemingly at odds with the POG, it implies that some significant sections fo the market are betting on a pull back in the POG ..... needless to say US$1500 is such an important level both technically and symbolically .... if US$1500 proves strong support, then expect another leg up in stocks, but if support gives way, then expect further selling that will make some stocks look like very juicy targets. M&A is ticking up and will continue, one way or another. Currently, low market cap goldies with stranded assets, too small to develop, are being made low ball, stock swap offers, like SLR, NST and SAR have in play. If the SP slides continue, the rationale for much bigger M&A targets will grow ..... these will be very attractive too aggressive funds especially if they can cash out. Although RED will continue to keep the information flow going, no big announcements are due till first quarter 2020 ..... ASX300 would be very nice, plus resource upgrades etc. FFS is the biggie midyear 2020 .... may the gold swans keep circling.
