All goldie's are down today ... the best less than 1%, the worse like SLR almost 5%. These minor fluctuations in the RED SP are meaningless ....
a " random walk " no less, no more. 30c is short term "immediate resistance" which in the absence of very significant RED announcements, will be mainly influenced by the POG and general market sentiment. If HK becomes the new war torn Beirut of Asia, then China's economy will falter and the Little Aussie battler will quickly head for recession. This looks increasingly likely as HK looks stalemated between an intransigent autocratic Chinese government, afraid to set a precedent with HK that would embolden Taiwan and other parts of the Chinese commonwealth, and mainly young protestors, who in the words of one sage " when people feel that have nothing and nothing to lose, they lose it .... " I have my doubts that a worse case HK will be good for the POG or gold miner SP's.
