A poor lead from the Dow overnight, IMF downgrading Australian forecast, plus Japan upgrading their nuclear disaster to higher levels.
All of this has encouraged a mass sell down accross the board, in particular mining companies hard hit and FMG's report of a 16% fall in shipping volumes didn't help.
All commodoties down, particularly copper after Goldman Sachs advised their copper investors to remove long term positions and take profit.
I'm glad we didn't get any assays today. I would rather a nice run on good results in a bullish market. Todays market action would've only softened the run. All good IMO! No need to worry. Let the market pickup again and then we can have assays.
