You have to realize though that a stock over time especially operating on low volumes of trade will react to supply and demand. Think of it as you going to a shop to buy a second hand game that costs $50 (resistance point of the stock), the shop owner (seller) want's $50 for the game, but realizes that the buyer may only want to pay $45, so naturally the price falls. If you go to buy a brand new game $90 (stock based announcement) there will be no discount and the demand may be much higher (run in the share price).
Not sure if this analogy makes sense so included chart, you can see the waves which is how stock reacts to these fluctuations over time, I usually look at long term for ac8 but have put today's since your referring to volume.
