I am no chartist, but one thing is for sure, and that is that markets always return to average levels. The averages would have taken the XJO to around 4500, but the quasi exponential returns that have averaged 25% over 4 years, are clearly unsustainable. What happened today is the sign of logic and reasoning as well as a healthy market.
