Reality tv series in the making? Spin off Jetstar International and Qantas International and let them go head to head?
Watch Qantas International crash and burn as DBL21 and SURFRAT spend $5bn on buying 777's, go head to head with Emirates and make every staff member the highest paid in their respective discipline in the world. It is one big happy and nostalgic party at Qantas International until it comes to time to pay the bills at the end of the month.
Meanwhile Jetstar goes from strength to strength employing worlds best practices and flying the more fuel and maintenance efficient 787 on selected profitable routes in Asia.
Closing scene of the series is a fade away of DBL21, SURFRAT muttering some gibberish about leprechauns whilst joining the back of the long line of a few thousand Qantas International employees outside the Centrelink office.
