I'm just playing the Devils Advocate again here, but it seems to me like too many people on this BB have relatively large vested interests (e.g shares and securities) that support positive bullish market opinions and will only bear fruit if, and only if, the market keeps heading North.
Fair assessment?
Why should this market continue to trend upwards?
And please, save me your bullish sentiments, I am not asking for your advice. I have made my thoughts crystal clear on why I believe markets should NOT keep rising and rising and rising and rising.
While I remain on the sideline and cringe each time certain stocks that I intend to buy gain another 10% in a session, I only have to wait another week and they are back where they were again. This pattern has been repeating for about 2-3 months now and I ain't talking penny stocks either.
Any of you ever heard of the saying, 'No-one rings the bell at the top of a market'?
Well, to me, there has been a distant ringing for at least the last 6 months and for the past 6 weeks or so it has bordered on a near deafening :)
Cash is King right now imho ( I believe this to be so true I have only with in the last 2 weeks converted all of my SMSF into cash) and you only have to sit and watch a mixture of the three main USA 24 hours Market Watching channels to realise that the N.Korean saga is just one of numerous nails in the US Economic sarcophagus.
Just my thoughts........
