i'm just being realistic, maybe a sceptic but the believers are a little rose coloured of their glasses hue
with that many stores, you think they are getting ten orders simultaneously all the time? maybe an odd occasion they would, but if that were true, red roosters would be getting in that area i showed 18 stores, so you're suggesting 180 orders for delivery per 20min or per half hour? there's never even 19 people in store when you drive past or go in. Red Roosters are never as busy as say a maccas who also do deliveries, so maccas must take an hour! (yet ubereats in that area of brisbane lists maccas as 10-15min delivery estimate, haven't used that one but have done an uber eats souva in 15-20 min in that south east area of brisbane from a shop which is always backed up during peak times)
i said 15min at most in an optimised system. 15-20 would admittedly be also reasonable, yet they were 40, celebrating 30 and sometimes going lower
Ubereats is generally from further away (hence why i posted an actual map of brisbane red roosters to show how much area each would cover) and they are cooking fresh or fresher food. half of the red rooster menu could be prepared easily under 5min
and gsw is a step change in efficiency gain right? not shaving a minute here, 5 minutes there. So they should be smashing ubereats which is providing service to multitude of little stores, for red rooster you have a far more static system to optimise. Can't rule out the issues are at Red Roosters end obviously, so have to be fair on that
