Red, I have a question about what you said about the A$.
"A rising AUD is necessary for capital inflows to occur into Australia. Without that a liquidity squeeze occurs which helps to generate falls in Australian asset classes."
Isn't it the other way around? I would have thought capital would be more willing to flow into Australia if our dollar was lower.
