Ta for the timely response mate i appreciate it, yes ive often wondered why the volume has been decreasing with the increase in HFT use, we are talking about hundreds of billions of dollars in missing trades though, slowly declining over that time, surely the dark pools couldn't account for it all or even a substantial fraction? And if so where are they putting their money in the mean time, especially with the bond market as terrible as it is right now.
