Thanks Red for giving us a little hope with you downward bullish wedge peice of optimism.

The day thread title is your thanks.

I wonder why it's bullish. One would think an upward wedge would be!!! Oh I get it. Buyers are on a gentler downward trendline than sellers.

I saw a financial planner today, she choked on her spectacles when I told her I'd paid of my mortgage but had spend most of it again last week on My Crappy Portfolio.

On the side, she also does 'channeling'. You know, communicating with the other side - and i don't mean market fundamentalists.

I couldn't resist asking her to ask 'my guides' (ask your wife if you're not sure what they are), what shares I should buy. She closed her eyes and said RIO under $80. Then use those profits to buy WPL. Sounds boring I know..

So our strong dollar has put the lid on XJO and I can't see the $US getting stronger in a hurry. Do we bounce up and down between 4500 & 5000 for another year?

So here's my Crappy Portfolio but by the looks of the DOW, it will look crappier tomorrow.
