Wow - five up days in a row on the S&P. Have to go back to the end of June, first day of July, since the market has been able to string five together. Not sure whether it might try and make it six but as far as I am concerned, now looking for a correction and then we should have a better idea of what this whole mess means.
My favourite web site for sentiment figures has disappeared so I have spent the last week trying to set up my own indicators on this. Certainly not at the levels seen at the 2008/2009 bottom but did get back in August to the areas that usually mark a low. The short position does tend to suggest that there should be some buying support on any sell-off.
Don't usually mention much on my astro research as it usually results in strong resistance but I have a very important couple of weeks coming up starting with the New Moon on 27th September when the New Moon will only be 13 hours from perigee. Have a number of important "happenings" then right through to the Full Moon on 11th October. New Moons have been market highs with unbelieveable accuracy over recent months so it makes looking forward difficult as if I am looking for a correction now, it doesn't give much time for the market to get on with forming a high by 27th. Perhaps the correction will only be slight or is this the month when the New Moon may not mark a high. Ah - don't you just love this game where there are absolutely no guarantees.
