There other variables to consider as well Shooshka and that is the GOR ratio and the type of gas . One BOEPD can be a lot different in value if it contains mainly oil than another which contains a lot of dry gas , then again if the gas is wet and contains a lot of condensate it will change it again as will the API of the oil. I think some condensates are under price pressure.

I would like to see the oil and gas separate as they are with the RRC and treat the gas as a bonus and the oil as the bottom line. BOEPD covers a multitude of sins and is why its used by most companies as it makes for more impressive reserves.

The ratio used of 6: 1 for the "equivalent" part can be as much as 16:1 depending on the quality of the gas.

The latest EFS wells have 91% oil which is very good but I'm not sure about the API.
