I'm not sure the market is aware of the impact this Bubble Boomer, Reddit, Wallstreetbets could have.

A quick eye on the silver price. Up 12% - very volatile - briefly the mechanism behind it - apparently physical holdings of silver are getting lower - are already low and apparently a year's production is also short (sold short mainly by producers side). There are people who talk about silver prices of USD/oz 1000. Crazy. This is a 1500 billion dollar market.

In gold, we have seen a little bit of backwardation in the last few weeks to months. I don't think the silver story could affect gold, but if silver continues to go up, it will be very exciting at some point. I think the tipping point for silver is at USD/oz 40-50 - then the thing will explode and gold will also move.

Something is brewing. Then we have some political tensions on the side (China-USA, Myanmar) and Corona specifically is not doing so well either.

I think the next few weeks will be exciting. I have had the feeling for some time that gold is being held low because the central banks don't want an alternative to paper money. Imagine what will happen if gold rises and at the same time a Lehman effect sets in and the central banks don't step in. It will be a toxic mix with a massive explosion potential.

Presumably, share prices in general will then fall first.....but this should then be used (like March 2020) to buy in well-financed mining companies.

Gold could move 500$ in a few days.....at some point in time - my gut feeling. I hope I will be right.
