The army of redditors are being unfairly blamed here. They started their research and DD on GME in 2019 and into late 2020. The mania of the last two weeks has been due to medium-sized traders, probably 30-something finance grads, and other funds that smell blood in the water, coming in and taking advantage. Algo's are all over this thing now, as well as the other short squeezes.
