Gekko, it happens all the time, with third and sometimes fourth and fifth parties also being joined (ie: if set out, further out along the chain). The best part (I'm being cynical here) is when they individually cross-claim, or partially claim against others etc. Then, virtually all the time goes in trying to both describe and follow what each of them are.
