And the other thing I have been wondering about in this, just which jobs in the quotes in recent years have Redflow lost because the battery is the wrong size, too small, rather than not being ready to supply? Somebody may correct me but I'm not aware of that many jobs in Aus. that have been open to ZnBr batteries, more so Lithium. In a similar train of thought I guess that is why the California Energy Commission are pursuing the path they have taken in trying to jump start manufacturers of chosen solutions closer toward profitability, at a price under that of Lithium chemistries.
It is fairly clear since at least the Energy Queensland MOU (27 February 2023) that Redflow have been considering a larger storage capacity. For Tim to say some parts are capable of handling 10 times the capacity is interesting. Then you have to wonder if talking about GWh installs, would you only go with say 100 kWh modules?
@SimonGr Humble apologies, I was taking one component in isolation and I wrote that too. I don't know what power rule applies to something that could be used in a situation where it was found to be capable of utilisation at 10 times the current use. I was mislead by or misinterpreted https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/0167188X86900534
Are you having fun yet SimonGr
