    It isn’t quite that simple. Power is equal to voltage (roughly, electrical pressure) times current (the flow of electrons). Energy is power times time. So how much extra energy is stored by a 2+ ion is a function of the electronegativity of the elements being used.

    I’m not a chemist, but I can envision a scenario where you have double the electrons, but less than half the energy stored per electron due to the chemistry of the materials.

    So, well… it sounds nice at first glance, but the devil is very much in the details. That claim has my “sounds too simple to be true” detector pinging wildly.

    Plus, it really isn’t necessary to use that argument to support Redflow’s tech. Just show how much energy the pod can store, how much space it takes, and how much power it can put out. That, plus the price tag, is all that a customer needs to know.
