Four new job opportunities at Redflow, advertised June 2024. The descriptions talk about a new product line and new product development.
All jobs have Brisbane as the location, and no mention of overseas travel.
The May federal budget announced "$523.2 million for the Battery Breakthrough Initiative, administered by ARENA, to promote the development of battery manufacturing capabilities through production incentives targeted at the highest value opportunities in the supply chain."
I don't know if I'm missing anything but it's pretty clear to me that we will receive some of this funding. With a market cap of 25m it wouldn't take too much of that $500m+ to have a large effect on the share price.
All just speculation from me, as usual DYOR.
As an aside, on 30 April this announcement mentioned that a formal RFP is due in 6-8 weeks (i.e., about now) for a 55 MWh project for a large Australian utility where Redflow has been shortlisted. Long suffering shareholders would be hoping that that project is won also.
