Hey Trader.
I dont think the ZBM3 is to expensive . I heard on the streets ZBM3 with BMS is $10.5k may have to include freight !
It's a well known fact that you can't or shouldn't discharge lithium past 40% So. I have been in the industry a very long time and can assure that this is the specification for Lithium. Yes they can go to 0% SoC but no warranty or life expectancy of 10 years is achievable.
I believe that to meet the same Throughput energy over its lifetime expectancy as ZBM3 - Lithium battery banks would require to be double the size of a ZBM3 ie lithium 20kWh to equal ZBM3 @ 10kWh
Based on the pricing being thrown around here for lithium $3k for 5kWh @4 times = $12k for a reputable Lithium system.
If we then take the RTE in this example the lithium would require 11kWh to chargers as you only use 50% - and the ZBM3 would require 12kWh to charge using 100%
ZBM3 seems very comparable, competitive with a bucket load of pros . Thermal runaway comes to mind
