I would say that Redflow will stay with zinc-bromide and refine/improve the battery even further ........... maybe a Gen 4 down the track ?
What is significant about this news is having an independent, dedicated and highly knowledgeable research team working alongside Redflow at this stage of the company's growth.
This should really assist the business and free up time while it is busy with chasing large orders, expanding it's manufacturing capabilities, attending networking opportunities, accreditations, focusing on cost cutting and the many other activities involved in advancing the business. It should also help Redflow compete alongside other companies with much greater resources imo.
