LG solar battery recall expanded, NSW reports battery fire spike – pv magazine Australia (pv-magazine-australia.com)
"So far, about 2,900 batteries have been replaced or removed from consumers’ properties, according to the ACCC. A further 1,400 batteries have been switched off or have had the maximum charge capacity reduced to 75% to minimise the risk overheating while they wait for a replacement or refund."
LOL,
If only there was an Australian battery company manufactured their own batteries and reported their income in Australia who sold a small format battery small enough for many peoples homes that didn't have a fire risk......if only....if only.
But no, all Australian Govt's refuse to include flow batteries of any description in their Solar Battery rebate schemes. (at least last I looked).
