Some time ago Redflow posted info on having started a process some 6 months before to find a better solution to the glass reinforced HDPE ribs, at one point I recall reading or hearing that this new solution might reduce the need for "rib stitching", how that comes in to the mix, no idea.

It was at the AGM that I found out how inconsistent these HDPE ribs had been, within the same batch. I guess that led to the search for a better solution.

The annual production rates are published from time to time, e.g. in the last AGM report. In the beginning in Thailand you could see the ZBM2 stacks being bolted together by hand, the battery was a hand assembled collection of parts. The ZBM3 is getting closer to a condition where it will be an automated assembly of far fewer parts, but not till the ribs are 100% reliable.

I could see that it was the ribs that were the major item preventing mass or faster production, as I wrote a little while ago it was one the very major reasons we drove to Brisbane for the AGM to get some answers.

The people in charge of production and I guess QC or QA, they need to know that all parts that go into every battery are going to last, to keep the battery inside performance specifications during the warranted life time and under all the conditions the BMS will permit.

Even with this production issue we seem to have garnered some interest, about 60 MWh of batteries, in EnergyPods.
