I think there are an awful lot of people panicking...look at james packer....
just about every major company is in panick mode....
does not say much for their management....
acting up...as if ....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
not much stamina out there
I am just guessing with BHP and the likes....even the banks should be marked down...they are holding the economy down...by not lending...so they should be punished....
its their job to lend...
hate to admit it...but being a baby boomer...on the wrong side of the best age in life...so we tend to look backwards to peer into the future.....
and we are a cautious bunch.....not blindly optimistic

just looked up the commsec chart for bhp...starts 87...it hovered around under the 5.00 until 93...93-98 went up to 10, 99 it was back to 5.00, then took 5 years to get back to 10....its only been going skywards since 2004....
I mean you can trade it all day...its up and down all the time..so who knows, it can go low and staylow,...unless the resources boom picks up again.....
which it should...maybe another year or two...but maybe they will not get the big dollars as in the past....
as for the bloke with all those houses....how canny can you be....
