Nice one BB. If it wasnt all completely true i'd say it was a pretty good ramp!
You might be preaching to the converted though. This govt announcement has been delayed for so long I reckon we're all topped up to the eyeballs. Anyone who hasnt followed the story so far and hasn't already bought probably wont until the news comes.
Unfortunately, unlike speccie resource companies who run 200% on a rumour their MD has been to Bunnings to buy a shovel, I think CNM will only take off on the news, or when insiders get wind of something - and i'd say the REDP decision will be held tighter than a cat's youknowwhat, so I'm not going to use that as a guide. But once CNM does get noticed, and appreciated by more people than the 40 or so on this thread, it will get the SP appreciation it deserves.
Parliament is sitting until 17 Sept so I doubt we'll get anything on th REDP before that (I'd say no-one would want to miss the photo op), but you never know. i hope I'm wrong.
In the meantime, I've been thinking about the other bits of less important info that I think must be around the corner. I'm sure others could add to it.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT FOR ALBANY
On 2nd Sept 2008 a preliminary environmental report was announced and in the media it was suggested that it would take about a year to conduct a more detailed environmental assessment, so you could say it is now due or at the very least we could legitimately expect update on its progress.
VICTORIAN SITE UPDATE
In the last quarterly, CNM said that feasibility activities at Portland, Warrnambool and Phillip Island are concluding, with results expected to be announced this quarter. So the results should come before the end of September.
SOUTH AUSTRALIAN SITE UPDATE
On 11th February 2009, CNM announced they had been granted a licence to investigate a suitable site near Mt Gambier. Now that 6 months have passed it's not unreasonable to expect an update.
BINNINGUP DESALINATION PLANT
About half a century ago, CNM was shortlisted to provide 5MW to WA's second desalination plant in Binningup. Still waiting! The WA watercorp seem to be waiting for either the REDP grants to be allocated, or for CETO III to be deployed, or both. It would not be surprising to see an announcement soon after the REDP grants are decided.
THE BERMUDA WAVE SITE
As soon as the CETO IP and rights transfer (and name change) is complete I think we will get an update on the Bermuda site. As this presentation shows, it is fairly advanced and is nice and close to the US to provide a great demonstration site. Check out:

THE USA
I mentioned this recently and it's just my baseless speculation, but i think once the name change and CETO rights are transferred, we'll hear about developments in the US.
Obviously additional news could come from anywhere, whether it is Ireland, Reunion Island, I even noticed that the new Japanese govt seems very green and CNM are looking into that area as well - but the above is what i think is the most likely. But i am sure there are other things that I've missed, so please add to it.
