Hello Bagman I believe there are a lot of political agendas at play in Eritrea and in particular, in surrounding countries, so posted opinions vary greatly depending upon from where they originate. You may be interested to know that I have spoken at length with various players in the Eritrean scene, (Chalice, London Africa and Gippsland), and it is clear that these companies are very comfortable in working in the country. It is good to see that Newmont Mining Corp (yes the US based mega company) will shortly commence extensive exploration in Eritrea. Robs posts are voluminous, however IMHO they are frequently off the target, so I would read them with a pinch of salt I for one look forward to further developments in Eritrea, which is shaping up nicely.
