I don't want to burst your bubble al1 but '...its all these new taxes thats making Australian iron ore and coal so expensive ...' might loosely be described as a load of cod!!
Can I suggest we just look at demand around the world for end or intermediary products and it might reveal why there is a slowing demandv globally. And if we were really bored we'd contemplate the cost imposition of finding and mining minerals in a remote location with all but sparse transport capability over very big distances ... and last time I looked, labour arriving at the Australian mine sites were not just looking for something to do but rather a pretty reasonable salary... spare me, not a tax to be seen!!!
ps isn't CFE's iron ore play in Sierra Leone...
