So we have closed oil refineries in Australia and reduced our footprint by importing fuel instead. We have closed steel mills and import steel instead. We closed chemical factories and import chemicals instead. Brilliant!

Of course alarmists will say those industries would have closed anyway because they needed.updating. What company would update a factory in Australia with Greens holding the balance of power.

Next we need to close down mining and agriculture.

Foreign owners close their businesses in Aus because they can make more cash using other refineries is Asia. Market forces friend... nothing to do with footprints.
Hhate the game not the (wrong) players.
