Wasn't the only deal but was the best. Otherwise it wouldn't have been taken. AVB needed the 18 million plus the 12 million. Can you imagine how much dilution would have been in some of the offers? It's a lenders market out there for small cap/explorer's etc. Some of the deals would have been very nasty I imagine.

People are also talking as if we now have to wait a long period for finance sign off. Why? Votorantim's conditions will have been met after the $18.1 million goes official today. I imagine AVB and Votorantim can move on to the fine print of the $58 million straight away. Votorantim said we needed $12 million, well today we get $18 million with another $12 million to come. All the bankers will be happy with their security and AVB just gets on with the job.

PS Agent Cooper, I prefer averaging up but do wish I was sometimes a little more patient when buying.
