Wow!!! Just read the announcement, and personally am extremely angry at this move!
I would have much preferred a further dillution, than giving up this large stake and being reduced down to 5%. This announcement also reduces our 20% stake in Kilwani North down to 5% as well.
And they said so that they can focus on quote: "move towards a more Australian and European focus, this reduction in our Tanzanian interests will allow the strategic objectives of both companies to be met"
Actually to say I'm angry would be an understatement. I feel like we've just gotten rid of the prized jewel in our crown. Really the only jewel we have!!!!
No longer a buy sentiment, now a hold, and have to for a while, as I don't belevie I'll recoup what i've lost!
