I’ve been involved in many campaigns. It’s good to put a more conservative amount and then exceed it by a lot. I was involved in one campaign that were asking for $20k AUD and they raised $250k+
if you don’t raise the pledge amount the campaign doesn’t go ahead. It can exceed it by any amount though!!
