I find it unusual that we will not be involved. I must be missing a large part of where our technology will usher in the future of skin care even though Opte is already about to do so?

Opte is a makeup applicator. The developer himself in that video says its purpose is to camouflage blemishes. OBJ skincare is thus far about enhanced penetration of actives. So... different applications at this point. (i've been saying this for years now).
