It is interesting to see the market reaction and one can only speculate about why the market went negative on the news. One factor could be that there has been nothing said about other metals and elements that were strongly hinted at prior to the assay results being announced. Another factor could simply be that REEs are rare in name only. They are everywhere! What matters is the concentration and what the surrounding materials are. And not enough detail was given in the announcement. Knowing whether the clays are better than bedrock depends on the REE. But the lack of detail may just indicate that the right questions are yet to be asked. And so the market is nonplussed.
